In this episode Piper's powers advance
giving her the power to speed up molecules and blow things up. Even though Phoebe
could see Raynor do something to Cole, she refuses to believe he had no control over
what he did. That is giving her the benefit of the doubt that she did not hear what
Raynor said. You would think that after all she had been through she could understand
what it is like when evil takes you over. Prue and Piper seem to understand.
